I had been sleeping on some crappy welfare matresses stacked three high on the floor
for the past 3 years, so when I moved to a new house, I decided to buy a real mattress. It was so
comfortable, I then decided to build a bed to get off of the floor. I spent a couple weeks
designing and then about two months building, finishing, and finally assembling the thing. Total cost (not
including the matress) was about $350 CAN, of which approximately $75 was spent on tools I needed and now
will have forever. Feel free to build one yourself. Let me know by email
