This is the head and footboard design. They are identical except for the height, which simply
stretches the bars. The matress I have is 11 inches tall which puts the top of it flush with the
bottom of the bars. I ended up using 9 bars across the bed instead of the originally designed seven.
I also extended the corner posts 1 inch taller above the top beam than shown in the diagram. The queen
size matress is 60 inches wide, and extends by 1 inch into the corner posts on either side.
The side beams are pretty straight forward. I routed the outside edges with a roman ogee to make
them look pretty. They are attached to the corner posts invisibly with internal corner braces.
