Funds were tight on this version, so material was saved by bolting two of the sides directly to the walls.
The entire bed assembled. The top is made of a masonite sheet, reinforced by 2x2 cross beams.

Closeup of the locking mechanism. Aluminum tubing fitted through wooden blocks secures the doors.
A solid panel prevents Zachary from pulling the tubing out from inside. Again, ignore the silly
